This notice explains what Chatlane stores and why.
What we store
Your account details, your contacts, the messages you queue and their delivery status, and basic device details of registered phones. Phone tokens are stored only as hashes.
When a number changes owner
Message history belongs to the sender number. If another account takes over the number with approval on that phone, the history moves to the new owner, who may keep or delete it. Your contacts never move.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe or Billplz. We never see or store card details.
Your choices
You can export or delete contacts, remove numbers and contact support to close your account.
