Set up your first number

1. Download and install the Chatlane app on the Android phone with your WhatsApp number.
2. Open Phone setup, choose WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business and enable Accessibility.
3. Allow notifications and turn off battery optimisation for Chatlane.
4. Verify the sender number in the app so the phone registers with this website.
5. In My numbers, request the number and approve the request on the phone.
6. Send a quick message to yourself to confirm everything works.

Taking over a number?

Bought a number that was used with Chatlane before? Request it here and approve the request on that phone. The number, its plan and its message history move to your account, and you choose to keep or reset the old records.
