Terms of use

Short and clear — please read before using fred.my.

1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of fred.my and every app on it, including BizHub, Chatlane, Fredo, arkibPRU, QR Generator, Sticker Studio and Invitations (the "Services"). The Services are operated by Freddie Aziz Jasbindar, Parit, Perak, Malaysia ("we").

By registering or using the Services you agree to these terms, the Privacy policy and the Refund policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Your fred.my account

  • You must give true information and keep your password secret.
  • One account is used for every app (single sign-on). You are responsible for all activity in your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old; under 18 you need permission from a parent or guardian.
  • We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • send spam, messages without the recipient's consent or illegal content through Chatlane;
  • impersonate others or deceive people;
  • try to break into, disrupt or overload our systems;
  • use the Services for crime, fraud, illegal gambling or money laundering;
  • copy, resell or modify the Services without written permission.

4. Your content & data

The data you enter (e.g. BizHub company records, Chatlane contacts) remains yours. You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to provide the Services.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed, including your contacts' consent to receive WhatsApp messages.

5. Plans, Unlimited & payments

  • Every app has a free plan. Paid features (e.g. BizHub Pro, Chatlane Pro, fred.my Unlimited) are paid once for a fixed period.
  • No automatic subscriptions. We do not store card details and never charge you again. When the period ends your account returns to the free plan; your data is not deleted.
  • Prices are shown in MYR or USD and may change from time to time. Changes do not affect periods already paid for.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and Billplz. Invoices and receipts are available in My account › Billing & receipts.
  • Refunds follow the Refund policy.

6. Affiliate program

  • Registered users may join the affiliate program and receive commission on purchases (not donations) by users who sign up through their referral link, at the rate and terms shown when joining.
  • Commissions are held for the refund period and may be voided if an order is refunded, cancelled or found to be invalid.
  • Self-referrals, fake accounts, spam, bidding on the "fred.my" brand in search ads and misleading claims are not allowed. We may suspend affiliate accounts and void related commissions.
  • Affiliates are responsible for their own income tax. Program rates and terms may change; changes do not affect commissions already recorded.

7. Donations

Donations are voluntary and do not give any rights, shares or special services. Donor names are only shown if you choose so.

8. Third-party services

Chatlane uses your own phone and WhatsApp account; we are not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta, and you must follow WhatsApp's terms. Google sign-in, Stripe and Billplz are subject to their own terms.

9. Information, not professional advice

BizHub compliance dates, contribution rates and reports are general guidance, not accounting, tax or legal advice. arkibPRU data is compiled from public sources and may contain errors. Confirm with the authorities or a qualified professional.

10. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Services available but cannot guarantee they are uninterrupted. We may add, change or end features. If a paid app is discontinued we will give notice and a pro-rata refund for unused time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law the Services are provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services and request account deletion at any time via a support ticket. We may end access if these terms are broken.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The update date is shown above; important changes will be announced by email or a notice on the site.
