Getting started with Download Manager

fred.my Download Manager is a portable Windows app that downloads files faster and more reliably — with multiple connections per file, pause & resume, a queue and automatic retries.

Install

1. Open Download Manager and click Download for Windows.
2. Extract the ZIP to any folder (a USB drive works too).
3. Open Download Manager.exe. No installation is needed. Windows 10/11 with .NET Framework 4.8 is required.

Your first download

1. Copy a link (http:// or https://).
2. Click Add URL — the link from your clipboard is filled in automatically.
3. Choose the folder and click Start.

Tip: use Import list to add many links at once from a text file (one URL per line).
