Chart of accounts: add or rename an account

Every company starts with a ready Sdn Bhd chart of accounts (cash, bank, receivables, payables, share capital, sales, rental, utilities and more).

1. Open Finance › Chart of accounts.
2. Tap Add account, choose the Type (asset, liability, equity, income, expense), enter a Code and the names in BM and English.
3. Tick This is a bank / cash account for new bank accounts.
4. Save. The account is available in expenses, banking and journals.

System accounts (marked System) are used automatically and cannot be deactivated. Others can be deactivated when no longer used.
